What We Believe
Salvation: We are bound together under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is our authority for faith and practice. We achieve salvation through Jesus Christ, who died on the cross, and rose again. (John 14:6-7; Mark 15:33-39; Luke 24) Baptism: Symbolizes a believers death to sin, burial of his old life, and resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. (Matthew 3:16-17; Mark 16:14-16)
Communion: Symbolizes the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ for man's salvation. (Luke 22; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
Prayer: The privilege and opportunity of communication between man and God. (Philippians 4:6)
Bible / Bible study: The Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is the record of God's revelation of Himself to man. Bible study increases our understanding of God, our relationship to Him, and to others. (2 Timothy 3:16)
Worship: The surrender of ourselves totally and completely to God as we assemble together as his people. Worship strengthens our lives, the lives of our families, and helps us to live as God has instructed us through Christ Jesus. (Acts 2:42-47)
Priesthood of the Believer: The right granted to every Christians to read and interpret the Scriptures for himself, but in harmony with the overall teachings of the Bible. (John 16:13)
Discipleship: As God's people we are to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples of all people, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:18-20)
