Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal – Wednesday nights are a great time of food and fellowship. Beginning at 5:45 pm, meals are prepared by church members on a rotating basis. Prices are $5.00 for adults and free for ages 0-18!
Cottage Prayer – Cottage Prayer is a time of small group Bible study and prayer. On the 3rd Sunday of each month, members rotate hosting Cottage Prayer. It is a wonderful time of fellowship. Please see the monthly calendar for Cottage Prayer locations.
Fall Festival at the Pender’s – One of the most anticipated events of the year is the Fall Festival at the Pender’s. Henry and Dot Pender have spent their life devoted to our church. On the first Saturday of each November, the Pender’s open up their home (and their field) to members of First Baptist as well as many friends. Henry cranks up the tractor for an old-fashioned hay ride and sing along. Everyone enjoys marshmallow and weiner roasts, cotton candy and cake walks. Participants also have the opportunity to compete in the annual Chili Cook-Off contest. It’s an excellent way to spend a relaxing time with friends…old and new.
